  I wanted to give zero stars but Google wouldn't let me. John is the biggest liar that I've ever dealt with!!! Please people, if he tells you that he did some work on a truck that you're interested in buying, don't be a fool like I was & take his word for it. Demand to see the bills & check the serial numbers too, to verify that the work was actually done. I paid him extra, because he was having the head done on a truck's engine, that I wanted to buy from him, at Toromont Cat in Winnipeg, MB. After buying the truck & on the very first day, I worked the truck for10 hrs. & it spun the front cam bearing. I phoned Toromont up to ask them what kind of a job they did rebuilding that head??? Harry told me that John brought the head in, they tore it down for inspection & advised John what needed to be done to it. Harry said that John told him not to proceed any farther & wrap it for shipment. I assume that John figured that he had a real sucker on the line that wanted to buy the truck (stupid me) & put the the head back together & back on the engine. I guess that he didn't realize that any work done, ever, anywhere, at a Cat dealership is recorded by the serial number of that unit. Unfortunately for me, I found that out the hard way, & too late. I paid him extra for work that didn't get done & then had to pay again the second time to get that head fixed. And oh yes, John said that he wants me to be a happy customer & that he's going to help me out. Well, when I was heading to Arborg, I called him up & he said not to come to his place, that he'd meet me in town at the coffee shop (Chicken Chef). I assume that he wanted to meet in a public place, for his own safety. He never showed!!! I figured, what am I going to do, go down to his place & grab him by the ankles & shake him upside down until I get some money out of him. Yeah right, & end up with an assault charge. I chalked it up as a "Life Lesson" & moved on. I will never deal with that little, lying p***k again!!!
